Lisbon

Lisbon is systematically ranked among the best European destinations, combining a wide variety of history, sightseeing, monuments, museums, gastronomy and nightlife. The city receives more than 3.5 million foreign visitors per year, and there is a large and well-organized tourism infrastructure catering for all types of tourists and interests.

In addition to the city attractions, there are also a number of popular day and half-day tours, including for instance Sintra palaces and natural parks (30km away), Cascais/Estoril beachfront (30 km away), Silver Coast beaches (up to 1h away) and the Fatima sanctuary (1h away). There are many organized tours to these attractions, on a daily basis, which will be available to IM 2017 attendants and their families.
